Detroit, stand up — Ishii Qash is getting the last word. The West Side rapper, representing Fenkell Avenue, is back with her 2026 EP, “The Last Word,” and it feels like a statement from an artist who knows exactly who she is and where she comes from.
The EP includes “QueenPen” featuring fellow Detroit artist Ari B, and “4-1 Princess,” a record about her experiences growing up and the person she’s become. That’s the kind of honesty that hits home here — real life, told in her own voice.
The city is noticing, too. She was featured in Metro Times’ 2026 Detroit Music Issue, and FOX LOCAL Detroit sat down with her for an 18-minute interview titled “From ‘Rap Dawg’ to Detroit’s next big voice,” covering the project and her ties to the city. She has also appeared in The Punchline Academy’s Lyric League Series / “Detroit Is Back” cypher, hosted by Shade 45’s Da Inphamus Amadeuz and filmed in front of the city’s D12 mural.
Earlier releases include “Irresponsible” (2022) and “Madam Ishii” (2024), and she is building her name as an independent artist. With “The Last Word,” Detroit gets another reason to be proud — this is homegrown talent, speaking plainly and standing tall.
