Detroit, stand up — Boldy James is still setting the pace. The Detroit rapper released the standalone single “Love Me Now” on October 23, 2026, and he did not let the moment pass quietly, dropping the official music video the same day.
The track was produced by Roger L Goodman, and the video was filmed inside a record store — a fitting setting for an artist whose music always feels close to the culture that raised him.
“Love Me Now” digs into family separation and loyalty: missed moments, worried calls from his grandmother, and who stays when consequences arrive. It is plainspoken and personal, the kind of detail-heavy storytelling Boldy has built his name on.
And this is no one-off. The single continues a stacked 2026 run in which he has released five albums this year alone, plus back-to-back singles. That consistency is the story — an established, prolific Detroit veteran still working at a pace few can match, and still repping the city with every release.
