Detroit’s got a streamer holding it down for the real ones — Gregboi__ is out here streaming retro video games, mostly Pokémon, the way they were meant to be played: on original hardware and a tube television. No emulators, no shortcuts. Just the classics, live.
He’s a Twitch Affiliate from Detroit, Michigan, sitting at 974 followers, and he’s been grinding on a steady schedule — Thursdays at 8:30pm and Sundays at 3pm Eastern. Consistency. That’s how you build a community in this game.
What I love about this one is the authenticity. He’s keeping a whole era of gaming alive for everybody who remembers blowing into a cartridge. In a world of high-production everything, Gregboi__ keeps it simple: come hang, watch some retro, and vibe.
